Job Overview
Seeking a qualified, dedicated Computer Science / IT Teacher to deliver comprehensive curriculum instruction, oversee daily computer laboratory operations, and manage all CBSE-related portal operations and digital compliance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Instruction:
- Teach Computer Science / Information Technology / AI curriculum across assigned grade levels aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Plan engaging theory and practical lessons, prepare worksheets, conduct regular assessments, and maintain academic records.
- Prepare students for board examinations, practicals, internal assessments, and portfolio submissions.
- Computer Lab Management:
- Maintain hardware, peripheral devices, local networking, and licensed software across all lab systems.
- Ensure lab discipline, internet safety protocols, data backups, and regular equipment servicing.
- Set up practical workstations for board examinations, internal assessments, and coding projects.
- CBSE Portal & Administrative Operations:
- Manage data entry, verification, and uploads on CBSE portals (OASIS, LOC, Pariksha Sangam, SARAS, and Registration).
- Coordinate online registration for Classes 9 to 12, subject allocations, and teacher data updates.
- Handle examination-related portal tasks, including marks entry (internal/practical/theory), admit card generation, and board circular compliance.
- Assist the school administration with IT support during events, admissions, report card generation, and digital communication.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science/IT, MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), or BCA/B.Sc. (CS) with B.Ed. (preferred/mandatory as per CBSE norms).
- Experience: 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++, Java, HTML/CSS, SQL) according to the CBSE syllabus.
- CBSE Familiarity: Hands-on operational knowledge of CBSE portals, LOC submission guidelines, and examination bye-laws.
- Communication: Strong English communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and parents.
