Role Overview :
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on SPM Machine Assembly Technician with strong mechanical knowledge. The candidate will be responsible for assembling special purpose machines (SPM), supporting installation activities, and handling related shop-floor and field operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform mechanical assembly of SPM machines as per drawings and specifications
- Carry out drilling, tapping, and fitting activities with high accuracy
- Interpret and work with 2D and 3D mechanical drawings effectively
- Support machine dispatch activities, including final checks and packing coordination
- Visit customer sites for installation support, minor adjustments, and service requirements
- Handle material purchase activities, including visiting vendors and procuring required components
- Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and functionality of assembled components
- Coordinate with design and production teams for smooth execution of projects
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper condition
Required Skills :
- Strong mechanical assembly knowledge
- Hands-on experience in drilling, tapping, and machine fitting
- Ability to read and understand 2D & 3D drawings
- Basic knowledge of machine components and fabrication processes
- Willingness to travel for site work and field support
- Practical problem-solving skills on the shop floor

- Candidates from Mechanical background (Diploma / ITI / BE)
- Experience in SPM / Machine Assembly / Industrial Equipment
- Candidates residing near Thirumullaivoyal / Ambattur / Avadi
- Physically fit and willing to handle field-based responsibilities
