We are a rapidly growing international food company engaged in the manufacturing and global distribution of FMCG products, confectionery, sweets, snacks, frozen foods, ready-to-eat products, and specialty food products. With a strong export infrastructure and an existing business pipeline exceeding USD 15 Million, we are now seeking an experienced Global Sales Leader to drive the next phase of growth.
Position Overview
The Head / SVP – Global Sales will be responsible for leading the Company's international sales strategy and business expansion across GCC, Europe, USA, and Global Duty-Free Channels. The role requires a highly accomplished export sales professional with a proven track record of building distribution networks, securing large retail accounts, managing key international buyers, and scaling export revenues significantly.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with achieving USD 30 Million in export sales within 24 months while leveraging the strong groundwork and established pipeline already created by the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sales strategies for FMCG, confectionery, sweets, snacks, frozen foods, and specialty food products.
- Drive export sales growth across GCC, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, and other strategic international markets.
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, importers, wholesalers, and channel partners globally.
- Identify and secure business with major retail chains, food distributors, ethnic food importers, and duty-free operators.
- Build and maintain relationships with key buyers, category managers, and procurement teams.
- Lead negotiations for annual contracts, pricing, promotions, and distribution agreements.
- Expand the Company's presence in airports, travel retail, and global duty-free channels.
- Guide and mentor the telesales and lead generation team to maximize conversion of prospects into customers.
- Travel internationally to meet distributors, buyers, and strategic partners.
- Develop market entry strategies for new countries and regions.
- Monitor sales performance, distributor effectiveness, and market trends.
- Coordinate closely with supply chain, production, finance, and marketing teams to ensure successful execution of international orders.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Candidate ProfileMandatory Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of international sales experience in FMCG, food products, confectionery, sweets, snacks, frozen foods, or related categories.
- Minimum 5 years experience leading export sales as Head of Exports, Global Sales Head, Export Director, VP Sales, or equivalent leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience managing export revenues exceeding ₹100 Crores annually.
- Proven success in appointing and managing international distributors.
- Strong network of buyers, distributors, importers, and retail chains across GCC, Europe, USA, and duty-free channels.
- Experience in scaling international business and opening new export markets.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across global markets.
Preferred
- Experience in food products, confectionery, chocolates, sweets, snacks, frozen foods, or premium FMCG categories.
- Experience dealing with duty-free operators, airport retail chains, and travel retail networks.
- Experience working in both India and GCC markets.
