Jethi Travels is hiring skilled staff to join as Branch Manager - Reservations at our Jalandhar Office.
Requirement
- At-least Graduation in any stream.
- More than 8 years of experience in Travel Sector and preference shall be given to candidates having strong experience in travel domain
- Well versed is using all the three GDS systems and Excellent knowledge of computer reservation computer programs
- Preference shall be given to GDS/IATA ticketing license holder
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
This position would require to manage the entire office and lead the reservation and booking team including managing flight bookings, issuing tickets, handling cancellations and refunds, coordinating with agents and clients, and ensuring timely payment collection and reconciliation etc. including support the other team members with tasks such as data entry, booking confirmations, and customer communication.
- a. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire office and leading the reservation and booking team. This includes overseeing daily office operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the team, and maintaining a organized and efficient work environment.
- b. Your primary responsibility will be to manage flight bookings, ticket issuance, cancellations, and refunds. You will coordinate with agents, airlines, and clients to ensure seamless travel arrangements. You will also handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, providing excellent customer service and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
- c. As a Branch Manager, you will lead and supervise the reservation and booking team, providing training and support to team members as needed. You will assign tasks and monitor progress, ensuring quality and productivity, and support team members with tasks like data entry, booking confirmations, and customer communication. You will also be responsible for identifying training needs and developing strategies to improve team performance.
- d. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, airlines, and other stakeholders. This includes coordinating with airlines and suppliers to ensure seamless travel arrangements, negotiating with suppliers and airlines to get the best deals for the company, and resolving any issues or disputes with suppliers and airlines.
- e. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless night operations, managing team rosters for night shifts, weekends, and public holidays. You will ensure that adequate staffing is in place and that all shifts are covered, with minimal disruption to customer service. You will manage and coordinate the team's work during these periods, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- f. Other key responsibilities include:
i. Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
ii. Maintaining accurate records and reporting on sales, bookings, and customer feedback
iii. Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experience
iv. Identifying and resolving operational issues, escalating as necessary
v. Participating in sales initiatives and identifying new business opportunities
vi. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- g. The above responsibilities are not exhaustive and you may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
