The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the dealership sales team, achieving monthly and annual sales targets, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth day-to-day sales operations. The role involves team management, sales planning, customer relationship management, and coordinating with finance, insurance, and registration teams to maximize business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual vehicle sales targets.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
- Recruit, train, and develop Sales Executives.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
- Monitor showroom walk-ins, enquiries, test rides, and conversion ratios.
- Develop strategies to increase retail sales and market share.
- Ensure proper follow-up of all leads from walk-ins, digital platforms, referrals, and OEM portals.
- Conduct daily sales meetings and performance reviews.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Coordinate with Finance, Insurance, Accessories, and RTO teams for timely vehicle deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OEM guidelines, and dealership SOPs.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve escalations effectively.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend sales strategies.
- Organize local marketing activities, roadshows, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure proper stock management in coordination with inventory and logistics teams.
- Maintain accurate sales records using DMS/CRM/ERP systems.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in automobile sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Team Handling role.
- Experience in two-wheeler dealership sales is preferred.
