About Geo-Nectar Technologies
Geo-Nectar Technologies is a growing geospatial and land survey drafting outsourcing firm delivering precision CAD solutions to US-based. As we scale, we are looking for a detail-driven CAD Engineer to join our team and contribute directly to real client deliverables from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey drawings in compliance with the latest 2026 US standards
- Create boundary survey plats, legal descriptions, and site plans from field notes and raw survey data
- Perform orthophoto linework - trace and digitize improvements (buildings, driveways, fences, parking areas, utilities) from georeferenced aerial/satellite imagery in AutoCAD
- Draft topographic survey, subdivision plats, and right-of-way drawings
- Interpret deed descriptions, recorded plat maps, and survey data provided by US-licensed surveyors
- Coordinate with senior CAD drafter and project leads for revisions and quality control
- Maintain organized file structures, layer naming, and drawing standards per client templates
- Deliver accurate work within project turnaround timelines
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering, or related field
- 2-3 years of hands-on CAD drafting experience (USland survey preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (mandatory); MicroStation is an advantage
- Ability to perform orthophoto / aerial image linework, tracing features from georeferenced satellite or ortho imagery
- Basic knowledge of US land survey concepts: ALTA surveys, boundary plats, metes and bounds descriptions
- Ability to read and interpret survey field notes, deed descriptions, and recorded plats
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to drafting accuracy
- Comfortable working day/night shift to align with US client time zones
- Good written English for client and team coordination
Nice to Have
- Prior experience at a US survey or geospatial outsourcing company
- Familiarity with ALTA/NSPS 2026 Minimum Standard Detail Requirements
- Experience with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS
- Exposure to survey software: Carlson Survey, TPC Desktop, or similar
- Experience reviewing Title Commitments and exception documents
