Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily foundry operations, including melting, molding, pouring, shakeout, and finishing.
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely and on schedule.
- Monitor product quality and minimize casting defects.
- Allocate work to operators and monitor their performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Production Planning teams.
- Maintain production records and shift reports.
- Monitor material usage and reduce wastage.
- Train and guide foundry workers on standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure a clean work environment.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of foundry processes and metal casting.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts when required.
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
