Key Responsibilities
Overall Inventory management for interior showroom dealing with plywoods, laminates, doors, locks and other hardware accessories
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels daily, prevent stockouts, and initiate purchase requisitions for replenishment when materials reach minimum limits.
- Receiving & Inspecting: Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, inspect for damage, and reconcile deliveries against purchase orders.
- Stock Organization: Properly categorize, label, and store items in designated areas. Ensure the use of storage methods like FIFO (First In, First Out) to prevent spoilage or obsolescence.
- Issuing Goods: Dispense materials, parts, or supplies to authorized personnel while accurately documenting all outgoing transactions.
- Auditing & Reporting: Perform routine physical stock counts and reconcile them with digital ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, secure, and organized storehouse.
Essential Skills
- Inventory Management Systems: Proficiency in using specialized ERP, barcode scanners, and inventory tracking software.
- Organization & Detail: Meticulous record-keeping skills to track thousands of items and manage documentation like Material Received Reports (MRR)
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, move, and organize heavy items, as well as work on your feet for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to coordinate efficiently with procurement teams, vendors, and other internal departments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree or certification in supply chain management, logistics,
- Experience: Previous experience as a storekeeper, warehouse worker in a similar inventory-handling role.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
