ABOUT JOB
Designation: Civil Engineer (Maintenance)
Role: To Maintain a gated community having 7 towers comprising of approx 500+ flats
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Knowledge
- Identify civil issues if any or missing details, and work upon it prepare and send Request for Information in standard format in consultation with the property Manager and work upon them.
- Plan daily and weekly work for the allocated areas in consultation with project manager. Seek advice on the construction methods to be adopted as per the agreed Method statements
- Ensure the sub - contractors’ personnel are using correct data and drawings and methods statements.
- Monitor and supervise the Sub - Contractors works and report progress and issues/concerns to the Property Manager
- Inspect the Sub - Contractors works in progress for conformance to quality and design.
- Identify non - compliances with standards, code of practices and workmanship as per the parameters in inspection checklist.
- Progressively monitor the quality of work and get the rectifications done if any in timely manner.
- Maintain the record of all the works as per the standard inspection checklists.
- Proactively identify the M & E, interfaces like openings, inserts, M&E penetrations etc. and liaise property manager for coordination of these interfaces
- Maintain relevant quality records pertaining to all allocated works. Inspect and liaise with the concern residents
- Maintain all structural drawings, part prints and shop drawings in good order of the towers after handing over from the builder.
- Plan and order the quantities of material in conjunction with Property Manager and the management. Maintain the records of material ordered and used.
- Assist and provide input to Property Manager to prepare the daily site report for civil and structural works for the Management
- Assist Property manager to inspect site with respect to the BBS and quality.
- Record acceptance/rejections.
- Provide inputs and assist property manager preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Implement M&E ; O&M ; processes and systems using appropriate standard forms for process documentation.
- Contribute and support property manager in achieving client satisfaction score.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 2 years of progressive experience in construction Industry
- Strong knowledge of construction management and the protocols and compliance
- Excellent communication,
- Proficiency in using modern project management tools, AutoCAD Etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
