Role: Assistant Manager – HR (Core PMS)

Role Purpose
To manage and strengthen the organization’s Performance Management System (PMS) framework by driving goal setting, KRA/KPI alignment, performance review cycles, competency mapping, and employee performance analytics across all business functions. The role ensures a robust, transparent, and data-driven performance culture aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Management System (PMS) Operations
- Coordinate with department heads for KRA/KPI finalization and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure timely completion of appraisal activities across all functions and levels.
- Maintain PMS records, scorecards, rating sheets, and documentation.
- Monitor adherence to PMS timelines and escalation management.
KRA/KPI Design & Alignment
- Support business heads in drafting and reviewing KRAs, KPIs, and competency frameworks.
- Ensure measurable, role-based, and objective-driven performance parameters.
- Standardize PMS templates, rating scales, and evaluation processes.
- Assist in cascading organizational goals into department and individual KRAs.
- Conduct periodic reviews of KPI relevance and effectiveness.
Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Generate PMS dashboards, MIS reports, bell curve analysis, and performance summaries.
- Analyze appraisal trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare management reports for leadership reviews and calibration discussions.
- Maintain employee performance database and historical appraisal records.
- Support HR leadership with performance-linked insights for talent decisions.
Employee Engagement & Communication
- Conduct PMS orientation and awareness sessions for managers and employees.
- Address employee queries related to PMS process, ratings, and timelines.
- Coordinate communication for appraisal launches, reminders, and closures.
- Ensure smooth stakeholder coordination during appraisal cycles.
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback and performance improvement.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify gaps and suggest improvements in PMS workflows and policies.
- Coordinate with HRMS vendors/IT teams for PMS automation and enhancements.
- Develop SOPs and process documentation for performance management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational HR policies and audit requirements.
- Support integration of PMS with learning, rewards, and succession planning initiatives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
