Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Civil Engineering with a strong background in jetty, marine, port, or offshore construction projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of relevant experience in managing marine civil works and leading multidisciplinary teams. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality assurance, and timely delivery of civil engineering projects while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the civil engineering team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee construction activities related to jetty, marine, port, and waterfront infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure quality control standards, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Review engineering drawings, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project progress and prepare technical reports and project updates.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in jetty, marine, or port construction projects.
- Sound knowledge of RCC, steel structures, foundations, marine piling, and waterfront infrastructure.
- Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, construction standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in jetty, marine, port, or offshore civil construction projects.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction companies will be preferred.
- Proven experience in leading project teams and delivering projects within schedule and budget.
