We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Cinematographer & Video Editor to join our travel media team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in travel filmmaking, cinematic storytelling, drone operations, and professional video editing. The candidate must be capable of independently handling shoots, creating visually compelling travel content, and delivering high-quality videos for digital marketing, YouTube, social media, and brand campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Cinematography & Production
Plan and execute cinematic travel shoots across domestic and international destinations.
Capture high-quality footage using professional cameras, lenses, gimbals, and stabilizers.
Create visually engaging travel stories, destination highlights, and promotional films.
Handle lighting, framing, composition, and camera movement for professional-quality production.
Coordinate with content creators, influencers, marketing teams, and clients during shoots.
Drone Operations
Operate and manage drone equipment for aerial photography and videography.
Capture cinematic aerial footage while complying with aviation and local regulations.
Plan drone shots that enhance storytelling and destination appeal.
Maintain drone equipment and ensure safe operations during shoots.
Video Editing & Post-Production
Edit long-form travel films, YouTube videos, destination showcases, brand campaigns, and corporate travel content.
Create engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social platforms.
Perform color grading, sound design, motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects.
Add subtitles, animations, and branding elements where required.
Deliver platform-optimized content while maintaining high creative standards.
Content & Brand Development
Contribute creative ideas for travel campaigns and destination promotions.
Ensure all visual content aligns with company branding and marketing objectives.
Stay updated with travel content trends, filmmaking techniques, and social media best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in cinematography and video editing.
Prior experience working with a travel company, tourism brand, travel agency, or hospitality organization is mandatory.
Strong expertise in cinematic videography and storytelling.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and related creative software.
Professional drone flying and aerial cinematography experience.
Strong understanding of camera settings, lenses, lighting, composition, and audio recording.
Ability to manage projects independently from shoot planning to final delivery.
Excellent time management and project coord
Equipment Requirements
Must own and operate a professional camera setup.
Must own or have extensive experience operating professional drones.
Experience with gimbals, action cameras, microphones, and related production equipment.
Portfolio showcasing travel films, cinematic videos, drone footage, and editing work is mandatory.
