Makhija Quantum AI Pvt Ltd is building a large-scale EV charging infrastructure network across Madhya Pradesh, beginning with Katni and expanding across key cities and highways.

The business model includes electricity sourcing through submeter arrangements / commercial electricity procurement and monetization through EV charging infrastructure.
We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial, aggressive, and execution-focused professional to build this business from the ground up.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Head – EV Charging Expansion & Operations who will own the end-to-end execution of EV charger deployment and network growth across Katni and Madhya Pradesh.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Identifying high-potential charger locations
- Speaking with hotels, institutions, commercial buildings, landowners and parking operators
- Closing partnerships and commercial agreements
- Managing charger installations end-to-end
- Coordinating with Tata / Static / Jio and platform partners
- Building operational systems for scaling to the first 100 charging stations
This is not a desk role.
We need someone who can build, negotiate, execute, solve problems, and move fast on the ground.
Key Responsibilities1. EV Charging Network Expansion
Lead deployment of the first 100 EV charging stations across Madhya Pradesh.
Identify and secure partnerships with:
- Hotels & Resorts
- Restaurants & Cafes
- Educational Institutions
- Hospitals
- Commercial Complexes
- Parking Operators
- Residential Societies
- Petrol Pumps
- Warehouses & Logistics Parks
- Highway Properties
Evaluate site feasibility and business potential for each location.
Build a strong and scalable pipeline of charging locations.
2. Business Development & Partnerships
Meet property owners, businesses, institutions, and decision-makers.
Negotiate and close:
- Revenue-sharing agreements
- Space leasing arrangements
- Electricity/submeter commercial models
- Long-term charging partnerships
Build strong relationships with:
- Real estate owners
- Hotels and hospitality operators
- Commercial institutions
- Parking operators
- Utility ecosystem stakeholders
3. End-to-End Charger Deployment
Own execution from site identification to charger activation.
Site Identification → Commercial Closure → Survey → Installation → Go-Live
Coordinate:
- Site surveys
- Electrical feasibility checks
- Vendor coordination
- Electrical and civil work
- Utility and metering coordination
- Charger installation & commissioning
Ensure stations go live on schedule.
4. OEM & Platform Management
Coordinate with charging partners including:
- Tata Power EZ Charge
- Static
- Jio-BP Pulse
- Other EV charging ecosystem partners
Manage:
- Charger procurement
- Technical coordination
- Dashboard monitoring
- Installation timelines
- Operations & maintenance support
Ensure charger uptime and smooth operations.
5. Operations & Revenue Management
Monitor:
- Charger utilization
- Revenue per location
- Electricity purchase vs charging revenue
- Network profitability
- Customer complaints & downtime
Ensure commercially viable operations.
6. Expansion Strategy
Develop city-wise and highway expansion plans for:
- Katni
- Jabalpur
- Rewa
- Satna
- Sagar
- Bhopal
- Indore
- Key highways across Madhya Pradesh
Identify future EV demand clusters and strategic locations.
7. Team & Vendor Management
Build and manage:
- Field operations partners
- Installation vendors
- Site acquisition support
- Local relationship ecosystem
Create systems for scaling operations beyond 100 chargers.
Monthly Targets & KPIs
This is a high-performance execution role.
Monthly Deployment Target:
20–25 Charging Stations Per Month
Performance will be measured through:
- Number of sites closed
- Charging stations deployed monthly
- Speed of execution
- Charger go-live timelines
- Revenue generation
- Charger uptime & operational performance
- Expansion across Madhya Pradesh
