Job Summary
We are looking for a Legal Executive – Compliance to join our Legal & Compliance Department in Coimbatore. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing compliance-related activities and legal coordination for operations across India and the GCC. The role involves monitoring regulatory compliance, maintaining legal documentation, coordinating with internal departments and external legal counsels, and ensuring timely completion of statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain and update compliance trackers, legal records, licenses, agreements, and statutory documents.
- Coordinate with business teams, HR, Finance, Operations, and external legal consultants on compliance matters.
- Draft, review, and maintain legal notices, agreements, declarations, undertakings, and other legal documents.
- Track renewals of licenses, registrations, agreements, visas, commercial registrations (CRs), and other statutory compliances.
- Support cheque bounce cases, legal notices, litigation coordination, and recovery follow-ups.
- Prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoMs), compliance reports, summaries, and management updates.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research related to labour laws, commercial laws, and corporate compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality of legal and business information.
- Assist in internal audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. graduate.
- 0–1 years of experience in legal, compliance, corporate legal, or litigation support (Freshers with strong legal knowledge may also apply).
- Strong communication and legal drafting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation management.
- Good coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of corporate compliance and statutory requirements.
- Understanding of labour laws, commercial laws, and corporate legal procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under strict timelines.
