Position: Instrument Technician
Industry: Chemical Manufacturing

Salary: Up to ₹3.6 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot process instruments such as Pressure, Temperature, Flow, and Level transmitters.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of field instrumentation to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Troubleshoot and service control valves, on/off valves, actuators, solenoid valves, and limit switches.
- Monitor and maintain PLC, DCS, and SCADA-based control systems.
- Carry out instrument loop checking, signal testing, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain instrument air systems, field junction boxes, cable terminations, and associated accessories.
- Diagnose and rectify instrument faults with minimum plant downtime.
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Ensure proper documentation of calibration reports, maintenance logs, and inspection records.
- Follow safety procedures, SOPs, GMP (where applicable), and company maintenance standards.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of process instrumentation and industrial automation systems.
- Hands-on experience with calibration of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Understanding of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Experience in control valve maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required.
