Job Summary:
The Girls Hostel Warden is responsible for maintaining discipline, safety, and smooth functioning of the hostel. The role requires a highly responsible individual with strong leadership, surveillance, and crisis management skills to ensure a secure and well-managed residential environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Security & Discipline
Maintain strict discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations
Monitor entry/exit of staff’s and visitors
Conduct regular rounds and inspections of hostel premises
Handle emergencies such as medical issues, conflicts, or security threats
Coordinate with security staff and Organization Reporting Person
Staff Supervision
Ensure employee well-being, behavior, and adherence to curfew timings
Act as a mentor and guide for hostel residents
Address employee grievances and escalate when required
Hostel Administration
Maintain records of occupancy, attendance, and visitor logs
Ensure proper allocation of rooms and facilities
Oversee housekeeping, cleanliness, and maintenance activities
Crisis & Incident Management
Take immediate action during emergencies (fire, health, misconduct)
Prepare incident reports and maintain discipline records
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification: 10th / 12th pass (Graduation preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 5–10 years of service in Security Services or Prior experience in hostel or organizational administration is an advantage
Key Skills:
Strong discipline and leadership qualities
Excellent observation and surveillance skills
Ability to handle conflicts and emergencies calmly
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical fitness and alertness
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Age: 35–40 years (flexible based on fitness and experience)
Honest, responsible, and strict yet approachable personality
Working Conditions:
Residential role (stay in hostel premises preferred)
Availability during night hours, weekends, and emergencies
24/7 on-call responsibility
