Ello Bakehouse is a growing bakery known for fresh, handcrafted breads, cakes, and desserts. As demand grows for our catering services — from corporate events and weddings to birthday parties and dessert tables — we're looking for an experienced Catering Manager to lead this side of the business from enquiry to event day.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
1. Create detailed event sheets: production schedules, packing lists, staffing plans, and delivery logistics
2. Coordinate with the kitchen on production timelines and with dispatch on transport and setup
3. Supervise on-site setup, presentation, and service for events; troubleshoot issues in real time
4. Ensure food safety, hygiene, and temperature control standards are met from kitchen to venue
Team & Operations
Recruit, schedule, and brief catering service staff (servers, setup crew, drivers) for events
Manage catering equipment inventory: stands, platters, chafing dishes, linens, signage
Conduct post-event reviews with clients and staff; track feedback and implement improvements
Requirements
1. 2-3 years of experience in catering, banquets, or F&B event management (bakery/dessert catering a strong plus)
2. Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines
3. Strong skills in menu costing, quotations, and vendor negotiation
4. Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
5. Comfortable with spreadsheets, quoting tools, and event management software
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
