Job Summary
myMD Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and responsible Assistant Pharmacists to join its growing healthcare operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting pharmacy operations, assisting customers/patients, maintaining inventory and expiry records, handling day-to-day pharmacy activities and ensuring a high standard of customer service.
An important component of this role is community outreach and Door-to-Door (D2D) marketing, through which employees will help create awareness about myMD Healthcare's healthcare services within the local community.
This position is suitable for candidates who are looking for an opportunity to gain practical exposure to pharmacy operations, healthcare services, customer interaction and community healthcare outreach.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pharmacy Operations
- Assist with the daily functioning of the pharmacy.
- Support medicine dispensing and billing activities in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements.
- Assist customers/patients with product-related queries within the scope of the role.
- Maintain proper arrangement and organization of medicines and healthcare products.
- Ensure appropriate storage and handling of medicines.
- Monitor stock availability and communicate replenishment requirements.
- Maintain records related to stock, expiry and pharmacy operations.
- Identify and report near-expiry or damaged products as per company procedure.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the pharmacy.
- Follow all company policies, SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements.
2. Customer & Patient Service
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and patients.
- Understand customer requirements and direct them appropriately.
- Maintain a positive customer experience.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, customers and team members.
- Escalate complaints or issues to the appropriate senior/team member.
3. Inventory Management
- Assist in receiving and arranging stock.
- Maintain proper inventory records.
- Monitor stock movement.
- Check product quantities and expiry dates.
- Support periodic stock verification.
- Coordinate with the concerned team for stock replenishment.
- Ensure products are stored in the appropriate designated areas.
Mandatory Community Outreach / D2D Marketing
Community outreach is an integral and mandatory responsibility of this position.
The selected candidate will participate in Door-to-Door (D2D) marketing activities to increase awareness of myMD Healthcare's services within the surrounding community.
D2D Requirements
Frequency: 4 days per week
Duration: 2 hours per day
Coverage: Within approximately 1–3 km of the assigned location
Responsibilities during D2D activities may include:
- Visiting residential areas and interacting with local residents.
- Creating awareness about myMD Healthcare and its healthcare services.
- Communicating relevant information about available healthcare offerings.
- Generating awareness and interest among potential customers.
- Supporting local community outreach initiatives.
- Maintaining professional conduct and communication during field activities.
- Reporting daily/periodic outreach activities to the concerned reporting manager.
Important: Candidates applying for this position must be comfortable with field-based activities and direct customer interaction. Participation in D2D activities is mandatory and not optional.
Working Hours
The role operates on rotational shifts:
Shift 1
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Shift 2
12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Employees may be assigned either shift based on operational requirements.
- Shifts are rotational.
- Weekly offs are rotational.
- Candidates should be comfortable working on weekends/holidays when scheduled as per business requirements.
