Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The intern will assist in improving website visibility, driving organic traffic, and supporting search engine optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms and opportunities
- Assist in on-page SEO activities such as meta tags, headings, and content optimization
- Support off-page SEO efforts including backlink research and outreach
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Perform competitor analysis to identify SEO trends and strategies
- Help optimize website content for better search engine rankings
- Track and report SEO performance metrics
- Identify technical SEO issues and coordinate with the development team
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engine algorithms
- Familiarity with keyword research and SEO tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Content writing or blogging experience
