An argon welder is responsible for using a welding machine that uses argon gas to fuse metal pieces together. They must be skilled in operating the welding equipment, adjusting settings, and ensuring the proper flow of argon gas for a strong and clean weld. Additionally, they must be able to read and interpret blueprints or welding diagrams to complete projects accurately. The argon welder is also responsible for performing routine maintenance on the welding equipment and following safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
