Key Roles and Responsibilities;
· Inspection of existing dies, machines, and other facilities for timely replacement/ refurbishments to avoid any stoppage and accidents.
· Plan development of dies and fixtures either for inhouse production.
· Work with Management in identifying new technologies and machines for Automation & improvement of production efficiencies.
· Work with Production team to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies in production processes.
· Analyse various parameters causing defects and optimization of these parameters.
· To implement LEAN manufacturing tools like 5S, Poka Yoke, Kanban, SMED and low-cost automation to improve productivity and reduce cost.
· Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in product development methodologies to enhance product offerings.
· Handle complete end to end responsibility from design to sampling for new product development for findings.
· Creating prototypes and conducting testing to validate product designs and functionalities.
· Identify trends and patterns, process data to drive decision making & improvement strategies & change over time.
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, etc. to ensure successful product development and timely launch.
· Assist PD team in monitoring product development timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
· Conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the viability and profitability of new products.
· Managing product documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals and other marketing collaterals.
· Assist PD Team to work with suppliers and manufacturers to source components, materials that meet quality standards and cost targets.
Conduct product analysis, user testing and gather feedback to evaluate product usability, functionality, and overall customer experience.
Candidate from the Gems and Jewellery industry are preferred.
