We are looking for a skilled, sympathetic Speech Pathologist to provide quality care for our patients. The speech pathologist will perform screenings, assess patient condition, and design therapy and treatment plans to help the patient develop necessary speech skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments for children with disabilities and developmental delays.
- Plan and deliver therapy sessions based on each child’s needs and goals.
- Work with children having conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, developmental delay, hearing impairment, speech delay, and multiple disabilities.
- Support children in areas such as speech clarity, language development, communication, articulation, fluency, social communication, and alternative communication methods.
- Prepare Individualized Therapy Plans and measurable goals for each child.
- Provide regular guidance and home-based activities to parents/caregivers.
- Track progress and maintain session notes, reports, and monthly updates.
- Coordinate with special educators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and program teams whenever required.
- Use creative, child-friendly, and engaging methods suitable for virtual sessions.
- Recommend assistive or alternative communication tools where needed.
- Participate in case discussions, parent meetings, and progress reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
- RCI registration is required as per organizational and program requirements.
Skills Required
- Strong clinical knowledge in speech, language, and communication therapy.
- Ability to engage children virtually using activities, visuals, games, and parent participation.
- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Patience, empathy, and child-friendly approach.
- Ability to work with children from rural, low-income, or underserved communities.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
Session Expectations
- Conduct one-on-one or small group virtual sessions.
- Share simple home practice activities after each session.
- Maintain child-wise progress records.
- Provide monthly progress updates to the program team.
- Ensure sessions are inclusive, safe, engaging, and adapted to each child’s ability level.

Compensation
As per experience and number of sessions conducted. Final terms can be discussed based on availability and engagement model.
