Production Plant Head – Battery Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Production Plant Head to lead end-to-end battery manufacturing operations. The role involves overseeing production planning, battery assembly operations, quality control, safety compliance, manpower management, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage battery production operations including cell preparation, module assembly, pack assembly, testing, and final QC.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are achieved.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives.
- Lead plant safety practices including ESD, chemical handling, and fire safety protocols.
- Coordinate with QA, R&D, SCM, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Lead and manage supervisors, technicians, operators, and shift planning.
Requirements
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 10–15+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in battery/EV/automotive manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of lithium-ion battery pack manufacturing, BMS, testing, and EV safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Industry: Battery Manufacturing / EV / Automotive.
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
