Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for driving branch profitability, managing day-to-day operations, leading the branch team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering excellent customer service. The role focuses on business development across Alankit's financial service portfolio while maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall branch operations and ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Achieve branch revenue, profitability, and business growth targets.
- Acquire new customers and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Promote and cross-sell financial products, including:
- Equity & Commodity Broking
- Mutual Funds
- Insurance
- PMS
- Forex Services
- GST & Tax Services
- Financial Inclusion Services
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of branch staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SEBI, NSE/BSE, RBI, and other applicable regulations.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of complaints.
- Monitor branch MIS, sales reports, productivity, and business performance.
- Coordinate with regional and corporate teams to achieve organizational objectives.
- Maintain branch administration, documentation, audit readiness, and operational controls.
- Develop local marketing initiatives and business development activities to increase market penetration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (NISM/AMFI/IRDA, where applicable) are an advantage.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in branch management, financial services, broking, banking, or wealth management.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, and team management.
