Senior Planning Analyst:

Primary Size, Grading & Location Planning Responsibilities:
- Own and develop/maintain grading guidelines/strategies. Ensure grading guidelines/strategies are being followed through grading review process.
Create and maintain store grading at the class level.
Monitor and review the grading process to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
Review high volume/low space stores. Analyze stores with high sales volume but limited space and provide actionable insights.
Determine how to best optimize high volume/low space stores. Identify and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and sales in these stores.
Communicate individual store grade adjustments. Inform relevant stakeholders about changes in store grades. Adjust store grades based on identified opportunities for improvement.
- Drive size strategy. Develop/manage the overall size strategy for the company. Determine level to profile and strategies to drive size precision.
Review and analyze size curves for each store before they are finalized and published.
Implement and maintain detailed size profiles for different classes and item types.
Conduct analysis to find size-related opportunities based on brand, region, or demographics and provide actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.
Review/examine actual sales data, allocated sizes, and planned penetration percentages.
Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance size allocation accuracy.
Collaborate with ASMs and Business Units to build store clusters. Implement/roll out localization strategies and brand/category-specific initiatives.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
4 to 6 years of experience in Retail Supply Chain - planning and allocation, merchandising planning, inventory management and forecasting.
Critical thinking, Problem Solving & Decision-making.
Business planning and financial analysis, Allocation, Planning, Buying, Merchandising, Inventory Control and Supply Chain knowledge.
Proficiency in Blue Yonder INFORM/JDA/EFAs or other planning and allocation operating system.
Experience with Microstrategy Planning & Reporting tools a plus.
Proficiency in intermediate excel.
