Key Responsibilities
- Teach MBBS students and postgraduate residents as per the NMC Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum.
- Conduct lectures, clinical demonstrations, bedside teaching, seminars, journal clubs, and practical sessions.
- Manage OPD, IPD, emergency ophthalmic services, and operation theatre responsibilities.
- Perform ophthalmic surgeries based on qualification and experience.
- Mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in academics and research.
- Participate in CMEs, conferences, faculty development programs, and departmental academic activities.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with NMC and institutional standards.
- Contribute to research, publications, accreditation activities, and community eye health programs.Eligibility
- MBBS with M.S./DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
Required Skills
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in Ophthalmology.
- Excellent teaching, mentoring, and communication abilities.
- Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice and ethical patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Good organizational, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
