Job Overview :
The role of Data Engineer at our product-focused company, you'll be instrumental in working with advancing data-driven features. You will do more than manage data; you'll be a key player in the CSE initiatives of products with data solutions for diverse clientele. Enhance product offerings through the strategic use of data, collaborating with various teams. Act as a bridge between the technical and customer, employing your data engineering skills to boost client engagement and satisfaction with our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the customer data landscape and their problems and providing efficient data integration solutions with guidance from leadership team using Rightdata’s offerings.
- Timely implementation of data integration solutions offered to customers using Rightdata’s products.
- Provide support to customers, troubleshooting complex issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Educate and empower customers through technical guidance and best practices to achieve their
- Ensure product’s capabilities are optimally used during support calls and provide
recommendations and collaborate with development team to improve adoptions.
- Apply AI tools to improve customer interaction and automate support
- Contribute to agile development projects, ensuring timely delivery of product
Qualifications:
- Hands on experience on implementation of data integration projects with deeper knowledge of various data integration phenomena’s like
- ETL/ELT
- Pushdown
- CDC
- Data warehousing etc.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, ideally within a product
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala).
- Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to a non- technical
- Familiarity with AI and chat interfaces, like OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Microsoft’s Bing
- Understanding of agile methodologies and product life
- Knowledge of Git or similar version control
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with customer support tools, CRMs, and ticketing
- Prior role in customer service or technical support with a proven track record of problem-solving.
