Candidate with minimum 15 - 20 years of Experience, responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations in Sheetmetal , Fabrication and Powder Coating ensuring productivity, quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Execution
- Lead daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer schedules.
- Coordinate with planning, design, procurement, and quality departments.
- Monitor fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and dispatch activities.
- Optimize shop-floor resource utilization.
2. Operations Management
- Manage overall fabrication shop operations.
- Improve plant efficiency, throughput, and productivity.
- Develop and implement operational strategies.
- Ensure smooth workflow across departments.
- Resolve production bottlenecks and operational issues.
3. Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and testing.
- Monitor weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and process adherence.
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Reduce rework and rejection rates.
4. Cost Control & Budget Management
- Monitor manufacturing costs and operational expenses.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Improve material utilization and reduce scrap generation.
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation.
5. Manpower Management
- Lead production managers, engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor personnel.
- Plan manpower deployment and shift management.
- Conduct performance reviews and training programs.
- Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations.
- Promote safe work practices in fabrication and welding areas.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and industry standards.
7. Process Improvement
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Improve cycle time and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Standardize operating procedures.
- Drive automation and digitalization projects where applicable.
8. Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials and consumables.
- Work with stores and logistics teams to avoid production delays.
- Ensure effective inventory management.
9. Customer & Project Coordination
- Interact with customers regarding production progress and delivery commitments.
- Participate in project review meetings.
- Address customer concerns related to manufacturing and delivery.
10. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare operational reports and KPIs for senior management.
- Monitor:

- Present improvement plans and performance reviews.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
