Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), WTP (Water Treatment Plant), and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize water and wastewater treatment systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical designs, calculations, drawings, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and engineering of STP, WTP, and ETP systems based on project requirements
Preparation of process design calculations, PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), and P&IDs
Selection and sizing of equipment such as pumps, blowers, filters, clarifiers, etc.
Develop detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools
Coordinate with project, procurement, and execution teams
Ensure designs comply with CPCB/SPCB and other regulatory norms
Conduct site visits for data collection, feasibility studies, and troubleshooting
Support commissioning and performance evaluation of treatment plants
Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, and cost estimates
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental / Chemical /Mechanical /Civil Engineering
Strong knowledge of wastewater and water treatment processes (MBR, MBBR, SBR, RO, UF, etc.)
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Excel, or simulation tools)
Good understanding of piping, instrumentation, and mechanical components
Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industrial or municipal treatment plant design
Exposure to zero liquid discharge (ZLD) systems
Knowledge of tendering and proposal preparation
