Key Responsibilities1. Production Management
- Oversee nickel and chromium electroplating processes

2. Process Control
- Maintain plating baths (Nickel bath, Chromium bath)
- Ensure proper surface preparation (cleaning, pickling, activation)
- Control thickness and uniformity of coating
- Troubleshoot defects like:
- Peeling
- Burning
- Pitting
- Poor adhesion
3. Quality Assurance
- Inspect finished parts for:
- Thickness
- Brightness
- Corrosion resistance
- Use testing methods like:
- Micrometer testing
- Salt spray test
- Maintain quality records
4. Team Supervision
- Manage operators and technicians
- Assign shifts and tasks
- Train workers on:
- Plating techniques
- Safety procedures
- Equipment handling
5. Chemical Handling & Safety
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals like:
