Job Summary
We are looking for a Accountant with strong expertise in financial accounting, financial statement preparation, budgeting, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, handle budgeting & forecasting, and lead a team of accountants.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Statements & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement).
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of books of accounts.
- Coordinate with auditors for Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and Internal Audit.
- Handle compliance with Accounting Standards (Ind AS / AS) and applicable statutory requirements.
Accounting Operations
- Oversee full-cycle accounting including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Manage fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and inventory accounting.
- Ensure proper TDS, GST, and other tax compliances and timely filing of returns.
- Reconcile inter-company accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare Annual Budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor budget vs actual performance and provide variance analysis.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.
- Support cost control and profitability analysis.
Team Handling & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of junior accountants and accounts executives.
- Assign tasks, review work, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide training to team members.
- Implement process improvements and automation in accounting workflows.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Finance.
- Good Communication Skills
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
