We're expanding our team at Learning Buds and looking for passionate, patient, and engaging Chess Coaches to teach children (ages 5–15) online!
About Learning Buds
We’re a fast-growing online learning platform that makes education fun, interactive, and effective. Our mission is to help kids discover the joy of learning through chess — building critical thinking, focus, patience, and confidence along the way.
The Role: Online Chess Coach (Part-Time / Full-Time / Freelance Options Available)
- Fully remote — teach from anywhere!
- Conduct 1-on-1 and small group chess classes via Zoom/Google Meet
- Teach beginners intermediate advanced -level students
- Create fun, structured lesson plans tailored to each child’s level and learning style
What We’re Looking For
- Chess knowledge on Chess.com/Lichess preferred, but not mandatory if you’re great with kids
- Minimum 1 year experience in teaching Chess ( Online ) to children or working with children (chess coaching, tutoring, camp counseling, etc.) would be beneficial
- you love making chess exciting for young learners
- Reliable internet, quiet teaching space, and a friendly on-camera presence
- Availability during 3 pm - 9 pm IST — Mandatory - Please do not apply if would not be able to take classes between these hours
