Job Description:
Role overview
Crowe’s Microsoft Consulting Practice is hiring an Agentic Business Process Analyst to help clients rethink how work gets done in the AI era. This is not a traditional business analyst role focused only on documenting requirements, writing user stories, or mapping current-state processes. This role is for someone who can diagnose business problems, understand root causes, redesign processes, and identify where AI agents, automation, data, and human judgment should come together.
The ideal candidate is deeply functional, process-oriented, and comfortable enough with technology to work side by side with engineers, architects, and client IT teams. This person should be able to bridge business and technology, helping clients move from legacy workflows to intelligent, agent-enabled processes.
This role also has an internal transformation mandate. The person will help upskill Crowe Consulting teams that may be used to traditional ERP, CRM, or business application delivery. They will help consultants develop a more modern mindset: start with problems, then processes, then technology.
What you will do
-
Lead discovery sessions with clients to understand business goals, pain points, process breakdowns, data issues, user needs, controls, and operating constraints.
-
Map end-to-end business processes, including inputs, outputs, roles, systems, decisions, handoffs, exceptions, controls, and performance measures.
-
Diagnose root causes across people, process, data, and technology before recommending solutions.
-
Identify opportunities for AI assistance, agentic augmentation, workflow orchestration, automation, knowledge retrieval, decision support, and process improvement.
-
Partner with technical architects and engineers to translate process opportunities into solution designs, prototypes, functional specifications, user stories, and delivery roadmaps.
-
Define business value measures for agentic solutions, such as time saved, cycle time reduction, first-time-right rate, SLA performance, adoption, override rate, CSAT, cost per transaction, revenue lift, and compliance improvement.
-
Help clients decide where humans should stay in control, where AI should assist, and where agents can safely orchestrate or automate work.
-
Support workshops, demos, process redesign sessions, executive presentations, and change management conversations.
-
Create reusable playbooks, templates, process models, and training materials to help Crowe teams adopt an agentic business analysis approach.
-
Coach Crowe consultants on how to move beyond legacy requirements gathering into diagnostic, value-led, AI-enabled transformation work.
What success looks like
-
You can walk into a messy client process and make sense of it quickly.
-
You can separate symptoms from root causes.
-
You know when the right answer is process redesign, data cleanup, integration, training, governance, automation, or AI.
-
You can help clients and internal teams understand what agents should do, what humans should do, and how to measure whether the new process is better.
-
You make technical teams sharper by giving them better process context, and you make business teams more confident by helping them understand what technology can realistically do.
Required experience
-
6 or more years of experience as a business analyst, functional consultant, process consultant, product owner, transformation consultant, or similar role.
-
Strong experience mapping, analyzing, and redesigning business processes.
-
Experience working on enterprise technology implementations, preferably involving Microsoft Dynamics 365, CRM, ERP, Power Platform, data platforms, workflow automation, or related business applications.
-
Ability to facilitate workshops with business users, technical teams, and senior stakeholders.
-
Strong understanding of process metrics, business value measurement, operational KPIs, and adoption measures.
-
Ability to write clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, solution narratives, and executive-ready recommendations.
-
Comfort working with technical teams on AI, automation, data, integration, and system design topics.
-
Ability to mentor other consultants and help teams adopt new ways of working.
Preferred experience
-
Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights, Project Operations, Finance, or Supply Chain.
-
Experience with Power Platform, Copilot Studio, process mining, business process catalogs, customer journey mapping, service design, or operating model transformation.
-
Experience identifying AI use cases, automation candidates, decision support opportunities, or agentic process patterns.
-
Experience in consulting or professional services.
-
Exposure to responsible AI, governance, risk, compliance, controls, or regulated industry environments.
Mindset we need
This person should not be a note-taker or requirements scribe. They should be a transformation-oriented business analyst who can challenge assumptions, ask better questions, and guide clients toward the right solution.
They should be able to say, “The issue is not that you need a chatbot. The issue is that your agents do not have customer history, your systems are disconnected, and your routing rules are inconsistent.” That is the mindset Crowe needs to scale.
We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship. These values define who we are. We expect all of our people to act ethically and with integrity at all times.
