We are looking for a dedicated Quality Control & Quality Assurance professional to ensure our products consistently meet domestic and international quality requirements.

Experience: Minimum 2–5 Years (Depending on Position)
Qualification:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Food Safety or Quality Management will be an advantage.
Industry Preference: FMCG, Food Processing, Rice Industry, Basmati Rice, Grain Processing, Agricultural Commodities.
Job Summary
The Quality Control & Quality Assurance professional will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards across raw materials, production processes, packaging, and finished products. The role involves implementing quality systems, conducting inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to deliver premium-quality Basmati Rice to global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure product quality throughout procurement, production, processing, packaging, storage, and dispatch.
- Conduct quality inspections of raw rice, semi-finished, and finished products.
- Perform physical, chemical, and sensory analysis of rice samples.
- Verify product specifications such as grain length, purity, moisture, broken percentage, foreign matter, milling quality, aroma, and appearance.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Implement and maintain Quality Assurance procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct routine quality audits across production and warehouse operations.
- Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices within the plant.
- Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Packaging, and Export teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, test records, and compliance records.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, BRCGS, GMP, and other applicable food safety standards.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Train production staff on quality standards, hygiene practices, and food safety procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance principles.
- Knowledge of rice quality parameters and grading standards.
- Hands-on experience in food quality testing and inspection.
- Familiarity with food safety management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within the FMCG or Food Processing industry.
- Candidates with experience in Rice, Basmati Rice, Grain Processing, Flour Mills, or Agricultural Commodities will be highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, ISO 22000, BRCGS, GMP, and food safety practices.
- Experience in handling laboratory testing equipment and quality documentation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage quality teams and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Ability to identify quality issues proactively and implement effective corrective actions.
