Role Overview
We are looking for a Jr. Quality Engineer to support fabrication and automation processes. The candidate will be responsible for in-process and final quality checks, defect analysis, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections during fabrication and automation activities
- Identify, analyze, and report product/process defects
- Knowledge of welding defects, their causes, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Perform dimensional checks using vernier calipers and other measuring instruments
- Monitor processes related to blasting and powder coating
- Handle quality instruments and maintain calibration records
- Document inspection reports and support root cause analysis
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical/Production/Quality preferred
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Quality in fabrication and automation industry
- Working knowledge of welding defects and quality standards
- Hands-on experience with vernier measurement, blasting, powder coating
- Good knowledge of instrument handling
- Ability to identify defects and perform basic analysis
- Good communication and reporting skills
