Role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components, systems, and products based on project requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality requirements. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to product development from concept through production.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo. Develop product concepts, perform design calculations, and prepare engineering documentation. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure designs are feasible, efficient, and meet customer specifications. Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and material selection to optimize product performance and reliability. Support prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities. Identify and resolve design-related issues, implement engineering changes, and continuously improve existing products and processes. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational quality requirements while meeting project deadlines.
