Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Engineer / Oracle Developer with a strong background in large-scale data migration projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience migrating millions of records (high-volume datasets) across Oracle databases, legacy systems, ERP platforms, or core banking applications while ensuring data integrity, performance, and minimal downtime.
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end migration activities including data analysis, extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, reconciliation, performance tuning, and post-migration support.
Key Responsibilities Data Migration & Conversion
- Lead end-to-end data migration projects involving high-volume enterprise data.
- Analyze source and target database structures and prepare migration strategies.
- Design and develop migration scripts, PL/SQL packages, procedures, and automation utilities.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading activities.
- Execute bulk data loads using Oracle utilities such as SQL*Loader, Data Pump, External Tables, and custom ETL frameworks.
- Conduct data reconciliation and validation to ensure 100% data integrity.
Oracle Development
- Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Optimize database performance for large-volume transaction processing.
- Design scalable database solutions supporting millions of records.
- Implement indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques.
Performance & Database Optimization
- Tune SQL queries and PL/SQL programs handling large datasets.
- Monitor execution plans and identify bottlenecks.
- Improve ETL and migration performance for faster processing windows.
- Support database performance tuning during migration and go-live activities.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform migration dry runs and mock cutovers.
- Validate migrated data using reconciliation reports.
- Conduct UAT and production deployment support.
- Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business users, data architects, application teams, and project managers.
- Prepare migration documentation, mapping documents, and deployment plans.
- Provide regular project status updates and risk assessments.

Required Experience
- 5+ years of Oracle Database Development experience.
- At least 2–3 end-to-end data migration projects.
- Experience handling databases containing 50 million+ records.
- Strong expertise in bulk data processing and migration validation.
- Experience working in production-critical environments.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
