Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Powder Coating Plant Supervisor to manage the daily operations of our in-house 11-tank powder coating plant. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in pre-treatment processes, powder coating application, quality control, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Operations
Monitor conveyor line speed, curing oven temperature, and loading/unloading activities
Maintain proper chemical concentration levels and records for each tank
2. Production & Planning
Plan daily coating schedules based on production requirements
Allocate manpower across loading, spraying, curing, and packing
Ensure smooth workflow with minimal downtime
3. Quality Control
Inspect surface preparation, coating thickness, adhesion, and finish
Ensure compliance with required standards (micron thickness, shade, texture)
Identify and resolve defects like orange peel, pinholes, and poor adhesion
4. Maintenance & Housekeeping
Coordinate preventive maintenance of spray guns, booths, ovens, and conveyor systems
Maintain cleanliness of plant, tanks, and work areas
Monitor water quality, filters, and equipment functionality
5. Safety & Chemical Handling
Monitor chemical consumption and maintain inventory
Ensure safe handling of chemicals and powder as per SOPs
Enforce PPE usage, fire safety, and ventilation standards
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain logs: tank records, chemical reports, micron reports, rejection reports
Prepare daily production reports
Coordinate with QC team for approvals and environmental practices
Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
