2 to 4 years of hands-on professional software development experience, preferably with product or agency teams building web applications.
Proven experience building frontend apps with Vite, ReactJS and NextJS, including SSR/ISR, routing, state management and performance optimization.
Strong backend development experience with Node.js and Python (frameworks such as Express, Fastify, Flask or FastAPI).
Solid database knowledge and practical experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB including schema design, queries, indexing and migrations.
Demonstrable experience using AI coding assistants (such as Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable.dev, AntiGravity or equivalent) to accelerate development, write and refactor code, and generate tests or documentation.
Good software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design basics, debugging and writing testable code.
Comfortable with Git, code reviews, RESTful APIs, and familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, clear prompt-writing ability, and the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, Haryana, India as part of a collaborative, face-to-face team; flexible to work beyond strict 9-5 hours when project needs demand.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, GCP or Azure), containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, PyTest) and automated test strategies.
Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility (a11y) and front-end security best practices.
Prior exposure to product management or strong product sense: defining MVPs, prioritization, and customer-driven iteration.
