Key Responsibilities
- Develop international sales for RTE Indian meals, curries, rice meals, gravies, plant-based meals and other ambient/shelf-stable food products.
- Identify and acquire importers, distributors, wholesalers, supermarket buyers, foodservice customers and private-label partners.
- Generate qualified international leads through market research, trade databases, exhibitions, LinkedIn, industry networks and direct outreach.
- Open new countries and establish distributor networks in target markets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle:Lead Generation → Qualification → Sampling → Commercial Negotiation → Order Closure → Repeat Business.
- Build strong relationships with international distributors and key accounts.
- Develop country-wise GTM/RTM plans, channel strategy and distributor appointment plans.
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, distributor margins, promotional support and commercial agreements.
- Work towards assigned monthly/quarterly export revenue and new-account targets.
- Drive repeat orders, account penetration and SKU expansion within existing customers.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking covering products, pricing, pack sizes, claims and retailer presence.
- Coordinate with R&D, production, QA, regulatory, packaging, supply chain and logistics teams for customer requirements.
- Support country-specific product registration, labelling and packaging compliance in coordination with internal teams.
- Participate in international exhibitions and buyer meetings such as Gulfood, SIAL, Anuga, IndusFood and other relevant food exhibitions.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, customer MIS and follow-up tracker.
- Monitor distributor performance, inventory movement, sales velocity and market development activities.
The distributor-building and multi-channel approach is particularly relevant from the attached profile, which includes opening new markets and managing General Trade, Modern Trade, Institutional and international e-commerce channels.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
