Role Overview
The IT Sales Executive, Cyber Security Services will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue by positioning our managed IT and cyber security services, including NOC, SOC, VAPT, DLP, Managed Security Services, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Firewall Management, and related IT infrastructure solutions.
The candidate will work as a trusted advisor for customers, helping them understand their IT and security challenges and recommending suitable solutions that protect their business, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities for IT and cyber security services.
- Generate leads through calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking, references, events, and channel partners.
- Sell cyber security and managed IT services such as NOC-as-a-Service, SOC-as-a-Service, VAPT, DLP, Managed Firewall, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and Managed Security Services.
- Understand customer challenges related to network monitoring, security operations, data protection, compliance, vulnerability management, and IT infrastructure.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, discovery, requirement gathering, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Schedule and coordinate technical discussions, demos, assessments, and solution walkthroughs with customers.
- Work closely with pre-sales, technical, marketing, and delivery teams to create suitable solutions for clients.
- Prepare and share quotations, proposals, presentations, service documents, and commercial offers.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools such as Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Develop long-term relationships with IT Managers, CISOs, CTOs, CIOs, business owners, and procurement teams.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing and new accounts.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, cyber security threats, and customer buying behaviour.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates for management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience in IT services, cyber security, SaaS, cloud, networking, or managed services.
- Basic understanding of cyber security and IT infrastructure services such as NOC, SOC, VAPT, DLP, firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, cloud security, and compliance.
- Proven experience in lead generation, customer follow-up, proposal sharing, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to explain technical services in simple business language to non-technical customers.
- Experience in handling corporate customers, IT teams, procurement teams, and business decision-makers.
- Good knowledge of CRM tools, email communication, sales reporting, and pipeline management.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, confident, and comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
- Ability to coordinate with technical teams for demos, requirement gathering, and solution discussions.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Existing network of IT Managers, CISOs, CTOs, CIOs, procurement heads, and business owners.
- Experience selling managed security services, MSSP services, SOC solutions, VAPT, DLP, firewall, endpoint security, or cloud security services.
- Familiarity with vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Security, IBM QRadar, Splunk, ManageEngine, Motadata, Forcepoint, Netskope, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with MSPs, system integrators, cyber security companies, or IT infrastructure service providers.
- Relevant sales or security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, vendor sales certifications, cloud security sales certifications, or cyber security awareness training.
- Experience in LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, email campaigns, and enterprise account management.
