Job Description
TAG/ ARC Parcel service is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team at our Coimbatore location. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and Tally, with the ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime/ERP.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts and ledgers.
- Handle GST compliance, return filing, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and file TDS returns as per statutory requirements.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare MIS reports and support monthly and annual financial closing.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure statutory compliance.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Travel to branch locations when required for accounting-related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP.
- Good understanding of Double Entry Accounting.
- Hands-on experience in GST and TDS Filing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Local candidates from Coimbatore are preferred.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Salary
