Job Summary
The School Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and upkeep of school facilities to ensure a clean, secure, and functional learning environment. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance and facility operations across the school campus
- Ensure classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas are clean, safe, and functional
- Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations
- Monitor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems
- Supervise and assign tasks to maintenance, cleaning, and support staff
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Conduct regular inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and inventory of supplies
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities supervision
- Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices
- Ability to manage staff and coordinate multiple tasks
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
