Job description
The selected candidates will work on the DST-sponsored research project, "Computational Modelling of Neural Mechanisms Correlating Cognitive Dysfunctions in Movement Disorders for Improved Diagnosis and Therapy."
The project aims to develop computational models and AI-driven approaches to understand the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive impairments in movement disorders and support the development of improved diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
Key Responsible
Analyze multimodal neuroscience datasets, including neuroimaging, electrophysiological, and behavioral data.
Design and evaluate machine learning and deep learning algorithms for disease modelling and prediction.
Contribute to the development of AI-enabled tools for diagnosis and therapeutic decision support.
Assist in preparing technical reports, research publications, and project documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary researchers and participate in project meetings and dissemination activities.

Expected Skills:
Experience in computational neuroscience, neural modelling, machine learning, deep learning, spiking neural networks, biomedical signal processing, or neuroimaging.
Able to perform Parameter optimisation of spiking neuron model Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB.
