Role Summary
The Factory Manager is responsible for overall plant operations including production, manpower management, quality control, maintenance, inventory, safety, dispatch, and operational efficiency. The role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning of the factory while achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, and controlling operational costs.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations
- Plan and supervise daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
- Monitor plant efficiency, downtime, and productivity.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores for raw material availability.
- Ensure smooth functioning of machinery and utilities.
Quality Control
- Ensure products meet defined quality standards.
- Monitor raw material quality and production parameters.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for testing and compliance.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
Maintenance
- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained properly.
- Minimize downtime through proper maintenance planning.
Inventory & Dispatch
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate dispatch planning and logistics.
- Ensure proper documentation and stock records.
Team Management
- Supervise factory staff, operators, and supervisors.
- Allocate manpower effectively across shifts.
- Conduct training and monitor staff discipline and performance.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure workplace safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain compliance with statutory and factory regulations.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE and safety procedures.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
- Coordinate with management regarding production planning and issues.
- Support cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Production, Agriculture, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in factory or manufacturing operations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
