Service Engineer
Role Defination :
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional after-sales support to our customers. This includes responding to customer complaints, evaluating and resolving issues, assisting with equipment installation, and training operators to ensure efficient and gentle machine operation.
* Roles and Responsibilities:
- Address day-to-day breakdown calls from customers, providing solutions over the phone or through on-site visits as needed.
- Handle mechanical and electrical breakdown issues competently.( Mechanical )
- Follow up on payment collections for services rendered.
- Install and commission new machines at customer sites, and train operators and service personnel on proper machine operation and daily maintenance.
- Prepare documents such as pre-installation requirement checklists and installation checklists.
- Communicate with customers about AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) requirements for supplied machines and negotiate charges.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Your Profile:
Must:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical.
- 3-5 years of work experience in the woodworking industry / Capital Equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with top management.
- Strong presentation skills.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of woodworking machinery, processes, and applications.
