Position Summary
The Store Keeper is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and issuing materials, ensuring proper storage of goods, and supporting smooth operations by maintaining optimum stock levels. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to company inventory control procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, receipts, issues, and balances.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry First Out) inventory practices where applicable.
Receiving & Storage
- Receive goods from suppliers and verify quantity, quality, and specifications against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Report damaged, expired, or short-supplied items to the Purchase Department.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the store area.
Issuance & Documentation
- Issue materials to departments against approved requisitions.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), stock issue slips, and inventory reports.
- Maintain records of inward and outward stock transactions.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and filed properly.
Stock Control & Audits
- Assist in periodic inventory audits and stock verification exercises.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and expired inventory.
- Minimize wastage, pilferage, and inventory losses.
- Coordinate with department heads for stock planning and replenishment.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company policies related to inventory management and asset control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards for hospitality operations.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for food, beverages, housekeeping, engineering, and operational supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma or certification in Store Management or Inventory Management preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or catering operations.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Excel.

Preferred Hospitality Experience
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
