We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Developer (HTML/CSS, WordPress & React.js) to join our growing engineering team. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in HTML/CSS, WordPress, and React.js. We are looking for someone who can independently transform UI designs into pixel-perfect, responsive web interfaces, develop custom WordPress themes from scratch, and build modern React.js applications.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking a project from design to deployment on the frontend—starting with converting Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, PSD, or similar design files into semantic HTML and SCSS, integrating them into custom WordPress themes, and developing interactive React.js applications when required.
You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, high-performance web applications and websites.
Important: This is not a WordPress-only role or a React-only role. Strong practical experience in HTML/CSS, WordPress, and React.js is mandatory.

Frontend Development
- Develop modern, responsive, reusable, and maintainable user interfaces using React.js.
- Build new frontend features and maintain existing React applications.
- Convert Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, PSD, AI, or similar design files into semantic, pixel-perfect, fully responsive HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop reusable React components following modern frontend development practices.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Optimize websites and applications for speed, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, scalable, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and processes.
WordPress Development
- Convert responsive HTML into fully custom WordPress themes using custom PHP.
- Build fully editable WordPress websites where clients can manage all content through the WordPress Admin without requiring custom HTML.
- Develop custom templates, reusable theme components, and dynamic layouts following WordPress Coding Standards.
- Create and maintain Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies, Custom Fields, and custom theme functionality.
- Work extensively with WordPress Hooks, Actions, and Filters.
- Develop lightweight, optimized WordPress solutions with minimal dependency on third-party plugins.
- Customize and extend WordPress functionality while maintaining performance, security, and scalability.
- Work with WooCommerce-based websites whenever required.
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Fusion Builder, or similar is an advantage when project requirements demand it.
Performance & Quality
- Build highly optimized websites targeting 90+ Google PageSpeed Insights scores on both Mobile and Desktop wherever feasible.
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly, accessible, and responsive across all modern devices and browsers.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend and WordPress-related issues efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, WordPress best practices, and modern development trends.
Required Core Skills:
HTML, CSS & Frontend Development
React.js
- Strong professional experience developing modern web applications using React.js.
- Good understanding of component-based architecture and reusable UI development.
- Experience integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
- Knowledge of modern frontend tooling including npm, Yarn, Webpack, or Vite.
WordPress
- Strong experience developing custom WordPress themes from scratch using PHP.
- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture and theme development.
- Experience with Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies, Hooks, Actions, Filters, and Theme Customization.
- Ability to build fully client-editable websites without requiring custom HTML.
- Experience working with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) or similar custom field solutions is an advantage.
- WooCommerce experience is a plus.
Development Tools
- Experience using Git workflows with GitHub or Bitbucket, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging and performance optimization.
- Understanding of frontend build tools and package managers.
