Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) AMS Consultant to provide application support, maintenance, and enhancement services for Oracle EBS applications. The consultant will be responsible for production support, incident management, service requests, defect resolution, configuration changes, and continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to SLA commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 application support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules.
- Resolve production incidents, service requests, and defects within agreed SLA timelines.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.
- Support business processes across Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM), based on project requirements.
- Analyze business requirements and implement application enhancements and configuration changes.
- Support interfaces and integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems.
- Coordinate with technical teams for Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Workflow, BI Publisher, and Oracle Concurrent Programs.
- Perform impact analysis, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements.
- Prepare functional specifications, test cases, user documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, DBAs, and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, change management procedures, and organizational quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/R12.2) in an AMS/Production Support environment.
- Functional expertise in one or more Oracle EBS modules (Financials, SCM, Procurement, Order Management, or Manufacturing).
- Understanding of Oracle EBS workflows, interfaces, concurrent processing, and reporting.
- Familiarity with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for troubleshooting and data analysis.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle EBS implementation and AMS support experience.
- Oracle Cloud ERP exposure is an added advantage.
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, XML Publisher, or Oracle Integration technologies.
- ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
- Oracle certification in relevant EBS modules is an advantage.
