We are looking for someone who will be responsible for writing the content for our software solutions and technical aspects. This will involve closely understanding processes in our softwares & transforming those into helpful help desk articles for our customers. It will require you to have skills in writing procedural documents & other types of help desk related articles. Technical Writer should be skilled wordsmiths that typically develop product manuals, how-to guides, website help sections, journal articles, and other content that distills technical information with ease and clarity .
Requirements
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand software functionalities.
- Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write help desk articles, procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
- Work with development and support leads to identifying all documentation repositories, revising and edit, and determining the best solution for structurally organizing.
- Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational legal standards, and allow for easy information sharing.
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation.
- Creating product documentation and tutorial videos content.
- Understanding flow of software to identify & designing articles to support clients & improve & reduce client training experience & time.
- Researching industry practices to efficiently do the tasks in hand.
